gaza demonstration in london

Young demonstrators convey a horizontal vastly elongated version of the Palestinian flag along Whitehall to the rally in Trafalgar Square. The effect has echoes of the funeral shrouds that are carried through crowds in Gaza.

A brother and sister originally from Gaza; the traditionally embroidered dress was given to the girl by her mother.

Just one example of the way in which parallels are being drawn between Gaza and the Warsaw Ghetto.

Prayers were performed in more than one corner of Trafalgar Square.
